Families and educators gathered together for an inspiring presentation by the Hartranft family during the latest installment of the “Partnership Advocacy, Family, and Educator Engagement” series, hosted in collaboration between Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 and the CIU 20 Parent Support TEAM.
Ben, a passionate autism advocate and motivational speaker, shared his personal experiences growing up with autism, emphasizing the importance of perseverance, inclusion, and embracing neurodiversity. Ben’s mother (Sandy) and brother (Dan) took the stage to share their perspectives on supporting a loved one with autism. The event concluded with a heartfelt Q&A session, where families and educators had the opportunity to ask questions and engage in meaningful discussions.
