Colonial IU 20 has partnered with local education entities to offer Transition and Community Resource Fairs for families to gather information about post-secondary outcomes for graduating students with special needs.
The fairs offer valuable information for families in a relaxed environment regarding: disability services for post-secondary education, employment supports, independent living and community participation information. Families met with community service providers in the southern region of our catchment area on January 25th on the campus of Northampton Community College and northern region families met with service providers on April 16th at Pleasant Valley High School.
