CIU 20 Networking: MTSS Literacy (Hybrid)

The Literacy MTSS Networking Team would like to invite all educators to come together either virtually or in person to share ideas and collaborate on innovative strategies that will strengthen our students’ literacy development and enhance the way literacy is approached through the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS). MTSS networking will include discussions about the comprehensive framework designed to support students’ literacy development in the educational setting and allow time for collaboration of educators, administrators, specialists and all team members to address the diverse literacy needs of students at varying levels. This will include time for teams to partake in discussion and create action plans that they can take back to their schools in regards to Pennsylvania’s new Structured Literacy legislation mandates. The goal of this networking session is to ensure that all students receive the appropriate level of support needed to become proficient readers and writers. By creating a collaborative and data driven system, schools can effectively address student’s literacy challenges and help students succeed.
