Acadience Reading K-6 is a reliable and valid standardized assessment that helps educators improve student outcomes by identifying children at risk for reading difficulties and determining the skills to target for instructional support. Acadience Reading K-6 includes six brief measures used to assess essential early literacy skills for students in kindergarten through sixth grades. This two-day Essentials Workshop will introduce educators to Acadience Reading by reviewing testing materials, guidelines, and scoring rules. Participants will also have practice opportunities needed for administering this assessment using ALO or paper/pencil.
