This course is aimed at addressing many of the recommendations that were set forth in the Trauma-Informed Plan, a document that was released under Governor Wolf's Administration. Professional books and articles that help to support schools, staff, and students with trauma-responsive practices will be shared. Evidence-based school frameworks will be reviewed through the lens of trauma including MTSS, PBIS, and additional classroom management strategies. A particular focus on supporting diverse student needs will be address throughout the course.
