Fundamentals of Autism Diagnosis 

Overview: 

Autism, also known as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), is a complex neurodevelopmental condition that affects how individuals perceive and interact with the world around them. During this training we will discuss the definition and characteristics of autism, recognize the diversity within the autism spectrum, and dispelling common myths and misconceptions. 

Learner Objectives: 

• Understand the definition and characteristics of autism

• Recognize the diversity within the autism spectrum 

• Dispel common myths and misconceptions.
