Safari Montage – The Pennsylvania Association of Intermediate Units has been granted a statewide grant to provide SAFARI Montage to every K-12 public school district that is connected to PAIUnet for the 2011 -2012 academic school year. SAFARI Montage is a video-on-demand and digital management platform that ispre-loaded with numerous high-quality educational programs from content providers such as, Schlessinger Media, PBS, The History Channel, National Geographic, Scholastic, Disney Education, BBC, and more. In addition to thepre-loaded content, districts will have the option to upload their own content. Take a look!

Defined STEM - Defined STEM is free for member school districts connected to PAIUNet. It is a web-based application that provides real world experience to students and promotes 21st century learning skills across multiple content areas for students in grades 6-12. Defined STEM provides videos that highlight STEM occupations to explain core learning concepts. It also provides project-based performance tasks that integrate numerous content areas and identifies differentiated projects to reach all learners. Lesson plans and virtual simulations are suggested to enhance learning. Take a look!
